So, the blog is working. By working I mean it displays stuff. Don’t anticipate on there being any “real” content any time soon – I generally get a monstrous case of writers block when asked to do anything that doesn’t involve acting like a muppet.
So what does the blog contain? First the words that you are reading, all packaged into a nice format. Not that there is going to be anything informative, witty or worthwhile here.
Secondly pictures! Powered by Plogger inline pictures being used to illustrate a point. For example:
Tada! Cool, no? There is also a link in the picture that if a GPS co-prd was found around the time that I was taking the photo then its location will be displayed on the min.....(more)

Right, so I thought that I better get the blog started then. We're t-minus 3 and a bit months and the preparation really has gone into overdrive here in motobimble towers.
Finished the last of the long (1000+ mile) trips that I'm going to get in preparation for this trip. I'd really like a shakedown cruise before I went but it looks like that isn't going to happen. Instead I'm planning to do a mini tour of the UK so any major problems can be rectified before I finally head for the ferry.
In the list of many jobs that I have to do to the bike before I leave is sort the panniers.
The first job was to install power into them so I can charge stuff while its inside the boxes.
The second was to fit some netting to the lids of the panniers.....(more)
